The Betting Rules :
-
Minimum eligible raise: : The raise amount must be at
least as much as the previous bet or raise in the same round. As an
example, if the first player to act bets 100-value chips then the second
player must raise a minimum of 100 (total bet of 200 in chips).
-
Maximum eligible raise: The size of the pot. The size
of the pot is defined as the total of the Pot in the middle plus all bets
on the table plus the amount the active player must first call before
raising. As an example, the pot in the middle is 200 I chips and the first
player to act in the round bets 150 and the next player calls 150... the
third player has a maximum eligible total bet of 800. The 800 total is his
150 call and 650 raise. The 650 max raise portion is equal to the pot of
200 + first player's 150 + second player's 150 + his own call of 150.

Methods to bet:
When playing on PartyPoker.net, you will have three methods of betting to
use:
-
The bet button- Just like in a Limit
Poker Game, you can
click the bet button, which will display the minimum amount you can bet or
raise.
-
The bet box- The bet box is a text box that allows you
to type in the exact amount you want to bet or raise. Once you have
entered the amount to bet or raise, the bet button will reflect this
amount. Then click the bet button and your bet will be placed.
-
The slider- The slider is a device that you can use
with your mouse to increase or decrease the amount of your bet or raise.
Simply drag the bar on the slider to the amount of money you want to bet
or raise. As you slide, the bet amount will be reflected on the bet
button. When you find the amount you want to bet or raise, simply click
the bet button and your bet will be made
At each Pot-Limit table there is a Maximum Buy-In amount. PartyPoker.net
currently has three different maximum buy-in amounts of 25, 50 and 100
in order to ensure all players have an opportunity to be competitive at
Pot Limit without having to compete against players with thousands of
dollars in front of them.
